IRS Audit Representation
ENROLLED AGENT (EA)
What is an IRS Enrolled Agent (EA)?
An IRS Enrolled Agent is a federally authorized professional who represents taxpayers relating to the Internal Revenue Service tax laws. Unlike CPA’s and Attorney’s, who may or may not chose to specialize in taxes, all Enrolled Agents specialize in taxation. An enrolled agent acts as a legal representative for the taxpayer in issues regarding IRS tax matters. This includes various tax collection cases such as taxpayers under IRS investigation, audit, back taxes, tax liens, and levies.
